As a trusted advisor to the market management team, the Sales Excellence Manager for ASEAN markets (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines) will play a critical role in driving commercial transformation and sales execution.
You will be at the cutting edge of influencing strategic and tactical decisions on our commercial strategy and operations by implementing analytics and reporting to support the success of our businesses. You will ramp up quickly to not only understand where business critical data resides, but also how the different systems interact with each other. You will create synergies and consistency of reporting among different businesses and sales channels.
You are responsible for
- Leading sales excellence and performance improvement projects in line with management team’s top priorities
- Installing daily management and problem solving in Order Intake (OIT) and Funnel Health
- Acting as the Subject Matter Expert to bring targeted solutions (data and analytics) as a result of problem solving
- Coaching top opportunities at risk, by applying customer focused selling (CFS) tools & techniques
- Accountable for adherence to sales / funnel health scorecard of market
- Working within a global team of peers to improve sales excellence (strategy and deployment)
- Responsible for deployment of global and local sales training programs on sales behaviors and competencies
- Coaching sales leaders to become more effective sales coaches.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following
- Strong communications as well as interpersonal skills to work closely with all functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and management to achieve the gold standard in reporting and analytics across the organization. Customer service mentality and problem solving capabilities are a must.
- Possess outstanding business acumen to be able to extract critical information to provide insight into the business in a timely and effective manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's or Advanced Degree preferred
- 12 – 15 years of working experience with 7 years of demonstrated success in working with sales and service leadership, marketing, and other functional areas to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force
- Advanced proficiency in digital commercial tools, particularly Salesforce (CRM) is highly preferred
- Ability to utilize your change management expertise and outstanding interpersonal skills to lead leaders, interface and influence at all levels in the organization
- Being a clear-thinker and curious learner with a proven track record on relationship building skills, sales program execution and setting up standard procedures/standard methodologies for meeting company deliverables
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills; as well as the ability to act with tact, discretion and diplomacy
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced organization
