Head of Data Analytics

Job Summary:

Head of Data Analytics will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting e-commerce data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and engaging with clients to understand business needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics within the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of the APAC e-commerce market.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Analyze complex e-commerce data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to provide data-driven recommendations.

• Translate data into compelling stories and actionable insights for stakeholders and clients.

2. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behavior.

• Benchmark company performance against industry standards and competitors.

• Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences.

3. Insights Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, and solution roadmap.

• Create detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to clients.

4. Client Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and ensure insights align with their business goals.

• Present insights and recommendations to clients, addressing their specific challenges and opportunities.

• Act as a point of contact for client queries related to customer insights, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure insights are integrated into business processes.

• Provide support and guidance on customer insights to drive strategic initiatives.

• Continuously evaluate and improve insights processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency


Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the APAC e-commerce market and cultural nuances.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in customer insights, market research, or data analytics, preferably within the APAC region.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methods.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences and clients.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience in client engagement and relationship management.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
