Responsibilities:
- To Lead the tooling team in problem-solving, identifying problems, and analysis of root causes.
- Liaise with the various departments; design, manufacturing, and planners on the progress to ensure effective tooling and achieving 100% on-time delivery.
Analyze stamping processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement. - Perform problem investigation and defect analysis.
- Engage in solving specific technical issues and business problems.
- Provide technical support to Sales and customers with tooling feasibilities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to refine tooling processes, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap rates.
- Maintain and update all documentation pertaining to process, quality, and system to meet approved
regulatory requirement-ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001 & and ISO13485. - Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure subordinates do not keep illegal items (like illegal cigarettes/alcohol) within the company premises.
- Manage discipline and tardiness in both Tool & Die and Stamping Personnel.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Precision Engineering
- Technical qualification in Tool Die making.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and a safe work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization methodologies.
