- Support the Manager in managing the Accident Reporting/repair operations and ensure all KPIs are met.
- Ensure operation costs including but not limited to material, manpower, and operating are kept within the operation budget.
- Review and enhance the existing systems without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
- Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Produce statistics and reports, to review performance and recommend procedural enhancement for discussion
- Establish, implement, and monitor safe working practices and procedures.
- Perform routine safety inspections on equipment and sites to ensure the workshop conforms to all health & safety regulations.
- Advise customers of the best method to pursue their insurance claims from a few insurance claims option available.
- Negotiate with surveyor / insurance companies to get the best labour charge.
- Verify job contents and check vehicle exterior body for dents, scratches.
- Prepare accurate accident repair estimate and provide supplementary estimate necessary.
- Advise estimated repair cost for work to be done, request for supplementary estimate if necessary.- Work closely with workshop foreman on the repair status, observe promised deadline.
- Conduct final QC check on vehicle cleanliness, verify job completion after end control.
- Notify customer that the vehicle is ready for collection.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
- With at least 2 years of working experience in motor claims within the automotive or workshop industry.
- Strong communication skills.
