Responsbilities
- Spearhead landscape design planning, turning creative concepts into detailed plans while ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
- Dive deep into site analyses, identifying challenges and conducting research to develop effective, eco-friendly design solutions.
- Work hand-in-hand with our Horticulture and execution teams, guiding consultants, contractors, and vendors to craft inclusive, environmentally friendly spaces that inspire all.
- Prepare comprehensive working drawings and construction details, ensuring every element is perfectly suited to its environment, all while managing budgets and securing funding.
- Help establish groundbreaking landscape design policies that promote long-term ecological health and enhance aesthetic beauty.
- Review proposals and implement exciting projects—from lush parks to urban greenery—bringing innovative features like nature play equipment and irrigation systems to life.
- Select and lead a team of consultants and specialists, nurturing creativity and collaboration at every step.
- Engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, from government authorities to community members, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Act as an advisor and liaison, enforcing best practices for greenery that contribute to a thriving environment.
- Oversee the ambiance of built spaces, making thoughtful recommendations for maintenance and improvements.
- Collaborate on new development projects, ensuring landscape designs align with national guidelines and promote environmental stewardship.
- Monitor project progress, implementing cost-effective strategies to keep everything on track and within budget.
- Manage procurement and contract processes, ensuring clarity and efficiency in all documentation and team interactions.
- Maintain meticulous records of project statuses, budgets, and expenditures, driving accountability and transparency.
Requirements
- A degree in Landscape Architecture is essential, complemented by hands-on experience in a professional landscape practice that showcases your creativity and expertise.
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, particularly in architectural and environmental design, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- deep knowledge of tropical landscape architecture and plant materials will be crucial.
- Familiarity with natural and urban landscape applications, high-rise landscaping, biophilic design.
- solid understanding of project management, local flora, and construction materials, ensuring every project is executed seamlessly.
- A self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you thrive on collaboration and are always ready to bring fresh, creative ideas to the table.
- Proficient in industry-standard software, including MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other cutting-edge design tools, allowing you to turn visions into reality.
