As the Supply Chain Manager at PDS, you will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations for our diverse range of safety products. Your role will involve ensuring that our products—from safety gear to healthcare devices—are sourced, manufactured, and delivered efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll work closely with suppliers, manage inventory, and lead a dedicated team to ensure that our products reach customers on time, every time. Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy tailored to the safety products industry, ensuring that all operations align with our commitment to quality and safety.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers of safety gear and healthcare products. Negotiate contracts that secure the best terms for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Product Sourcing: Ensure that all safety products, from protective gear to healthcare devices, are sourced from reliable suppliers who meet our stringent safety and quality standards.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels of safety products, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing waste and obsolescence. Implement systems to track and manage inventory in real time.
- Logistics & Distribution: Manage logistics and distribution channels to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers, with a focus on minimizing lead times and maintaining product integrity during transit.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards for safety and effectiveness.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall safety performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks within the supply chain, particularly those related to product safety, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
- Sustainability: Promote and implement sustainability practices within the supply chain, ensuring that our operations are environmentally responsible and support our commitment to global safety.
