Role Overview
We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. This role will focus on developing HR strategies, managing recruitment, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with Singapore employment laws. Experience in office administration is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop HR strategies that align with the school’s mission and objectives.
- Be a bridge between management and staff, addressing concerns and fostering communication.
- Oversee recruitment to attract top talent, including international hires, in compliance with Singapore employment laws.
- Lead performance evaluations and employee development programs that cultivate a high-performance environment.
- Ensure that all HR policies reflect legal compliance and support a fair, inclusive work environment.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll while managing HR budgets.
- Collect and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes.
- Lead the HR team, encouraging continuous professional growth.
Requirements
- A degree or relevant training in HR, business administration, law, or similar fields.
- Proven track record in HR management, with at least 7 years of experience (3 years in leadership).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and practices.
- Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.
