You will be working with our client under the private banking industry.
Job Duties:
- Actively participate in finance transformation projects, including system migrations, process enhancements, and new initiatives.
- Contribute to month-end closing activities, including the review and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts, and head office reports.
- Prepare and review reports for regulators and local authorities, such as IRAS, MAS, and SGX.
- Stay updated on financial and regulatory developments, analyse their impacts, and lead the implementation of changes to reporting and monitoring requirements.
- Engage in the external audit process and ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax obligations.
- Propose and implement process improvements for more effective and efficient reporting.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to address finance-related queries and requests effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CA, CPA or ACCA qualification
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in banking sector or financial services sector in similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GST, corporate income tax and transfer pricing.
