Responsibilities:
- Lead a skilled team of mechanical supervisors and contractors to execute maintenance, modifications, and construction activities, ensuring safety, timeliness, and zero disruption to plant operations.
- Collaborate closely with plant operators and other maintenance teams to coordinate and execute tasks without compromising safety and facility integrity.
- Conduct mechanical studies and modifications to plant facilities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and business needs.
- Investigate plant equipment issues, evaluate findings, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.
- Organize and deliver training programs for staff and contractors to boost skills and competencies.
- Be on call for emergency plant responses, troubleshooting mechanical issues on tight schedules.
- Implement management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 450001, and SS651 standards.
Requirements:
- A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in maintaining mechanical facilities in the oil, petrochemical, or power industries.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing Static Equipment and Rotating Equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative team spirit are essential.
