Job Description
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct programs/activities that will promote active participation and contribute to the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of the elderly clients.
- Ensure programs/activities are run efficiently and effectively to the satisfaction of the clients.
- Assist and perform therapy procedures according to protocols as instructed by the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
- Monitor and care for the well-being and safety of elderly clients during the therapy sessions.
- Prepare, transfer and porter clients for therapy sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the therapy area.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- NITEC/Higher NITEC qualifications in Paramedic & Emergency Care, Community Care & Social Services/Nursing or Diploma qualifications in health Sciences, Sports, Physical Health, or other related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a hospital or eldercare setting
- Possess a passionate disposition to interact and care for seniors
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent and highly reliable, who consistently performs well in all aspects of work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
