Job Description

  • Working with Management to identify funding needs and direction before developing relevant programmes and campaigns
  • Take accountability for the development of programmes and market them to new and existing partners
  • Review, plan and execute innovative fundraising initiatives such as specific campaigns and special events to support fundraising efforts and meet fundraising targets
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and prospects, assess risk to ensure maximum return on investment and efficient use of resources
  • Strategize and outreach to individuals, corporates, and foundations to build and manage pipeline of existing and future donors
  • Conduct research, data mining and analysis for donor projects and presentations
  • Ensures compliance with statutory fundraising requirements and Code of Governance, i.e. application of licenses and appeals where applicable
  • Donor Management – maintaining and updating records, continuously and proactively seeking out and building relationships with existing donors through consistent, sustained, and valuable engagement to maintain donor loyalty and conversion
  • Prepare donor reports, appeals, and impact updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Community Partnerships team on marketing plans
  • Any other projects as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

Volunteer Management

  • Analyse data for volunteer management/strategy: recruitment, retention, reactivation, engagement
  • Conduct risk assessment for volunteer participation
  • Develop, review and maintain volunteer management policies


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/professional degree in related field
  • Strong project management skills
  • High standard of numeracy and budgeting skills
  • Good written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience and track record in fundraising and ability to achieve financial targets
  • Creative and proactive approach to work, especially in digital engagements
  • Able to be adaptable and flexible in juggling multiple projects and work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn, to be able to render assistance and support, problem solve and execute
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to multi-task and coordinate well with multiple vendors and departments
