· Provide effective and efficient human resource services to support business growth and operations for all JR Group of companies.
· Appreciate business and operations requirements and challenges and to plan, organize and implement human resource initiatives to support business growth and operations.
· Work closely with line and functional heads to support them in manpower planning (including annual manpower budgeting), acquisition, deployment and monitoring of manpower level.
· Prepare and update job specifications, review and shortlist job applicants for line and functional heads to interview, follow-up with successful job candidates on job offer.
· Responsible for the Onboarding process for which includes, processing job application, ensuring that all the necessary documentation is obtained from the employee, to process the work pass application (if applicable), offer of employment, etc.
· Prepare and refresh orientation materials and conduct orientation for new employees.
· Work closely with line and functional heads to plan, initiate and organize training programs and development activities to make the employees more effective and competent.
· Responsible for shortlisting of suitable training courses for employees, liaise with the training providers and respective departments on training matters.
· To initiate, manage and coordinate all student internship matters with the various institutions (e.g. ITE, polytechnics, universities).
· To process and follow-up with the application for government grants and subsidies (where applicable).
· Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities including ad-hoc projects assigned.
