Job Title - Audio Visual Project Manager, Assistant Vice President
Location - Singapore
High level Scope


The Project Manager is a mixture of Agile, Project Management, Administration, Proposal Development,
Implementation management and Commissioning of AV systems. This role covers all stages of an AV project
and support of the regional AV Project Delivery Manager for projects across APAC.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Engage in Due Diligence exercises as required to either directly or remotely gather all
relevant information about a site for the purposes of auditing, assessing site
conditions and proposing appropriate AV solutions (either from a standard portfolio
or custom specification).
• Assist with budget & proposal development via the collation of project & vendor
pricing, creation & update of project proposals in various formats & iterations
throughout the approval cycle.
• Assist provisioning the creation/collation of technical drawings & drafts where
required to articulate design intent to vendors, clients, consultants and engineering
functions.
• Assist in creation and updating of Project Scopes of Work, Bills of Material &
supporting technical documentation
• Assist and support where required during competitive tender, quotation &
procurement phases of AV projects
• Assist in the planning, preparation, scheduling, co-ordination and validation of AV
system installations and dependencies either directly or remotely in conjunction with
local/regional dependant teams and vendors.
• Attend and represent the AV function at relevant project meetings including coordinating and running these where appropriate and as required.
• Track, report and manage project status, issues and risks.
• Assist with the testing, commissioning and signoff of AV systems including
verification, documenting, tracking, follow up and closeout of outstanding snags and
issues.
• Provide AV project and technical guidance / support to remote operational and
support teams where appropriate and required.
• Assist with Client and stakeholder communication and liaison as it relates to AV
projects
• Ensure all project reporting (written and verbal) / administration is completed as per
DB PMO standards
• To manage the Global Rolling Capital Plan (RCP) process for all Audio-Visual
Submissions working closely with Global Real Estate (GRE) on the life cycle of all
Custom rooms globally


Skills & Experience

  1. Proven & extensive experience in delivering upon the scope of responsibilities as outlined above, preferably in a corporate or finance industry environment. This should include the commissioning of common and complex Audio-Visual spaces (i.e. meeting rooms, boardrooms, training spaces and Town hall / auditoriums)
  2. Excellent technical knowledge of Audio, Video, Control & related systems & principles that allow for the certification/signoff of system performance & identification/resolution follow-up of any issues during implementation.
  3. Good understanding of dependant Real estate, Construction, IT systems/Networks, electrical, lighting & mechanical systems that relate to & affect the implementation/performance of AV systems
  4. Sound knowledge of Project Management / Agile principles & disciplines
  5. Professional demeanour and appearance and able to communicate at all levels
  6. Self-starter able to work unsupervised and deliver to a schedule


Education & qualifications:

  • Educated to bachelor's degree level in Computer Science, or a related discipline, from
    an accredited college or university or equivalent experience and certifications
  • Experience: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
