The incumbent will support the KK Research Centre in research administration in the following key areas:
- Facilitate timely review and negotiation of various research agreements among KKH researchers, external collaborators and other stake holders (legal counsels, accountants, intellectual properties experts etc.) and execute finalized research agreements in accordance to prevalent standards.
- Manage pre- and post-award administrations of research grants including timely dissemination of grant funding opportunities provision of administrative support in preparing grant application and facilitating post-award activities such as grant variation, progress report, etc.
- Provide secretariat support to various strategic research committees and meetings.
- Assist to oversee lab management in the research centre’s laboratory, including housekeeping, risk assessment, safety management, user registration, safety briefing.
- Provide administrative support for research events, seminars, workshops, special interest group meetings.
- Assist in development of publicity materials of research events, and to promote research services and researchers to the research community.
- Assist with database update, maintenance and report generation.
- Support in other functions such as general administration or coordination.
Job Requirements:
- Degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in Research Administration/Metrics/Grant Management.
- Familiarity with Clinical Trials and Regulatory Affairs, Medical and Research Ethics will be an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
