Job Profile Summary
In this role, you will be part of the team to provide Business Analyst services and for testing to assure quality of software products being developed.
Job Description:
- Understand business processes & define the business requirements in the form of use cases / user stories
- Design IT solutions together with relevant IT and other teams that will meet business requirements and timelines
- Deliver IT solutions in accordance to relevant IT policies & frameworks
- Provide & share knowledge to other team members
- Create Test cases & test plan
- Write SQL scripts to test ETL results
- Write scripts to regression test the ETL iterations already completed
- Test execution working closely with the regional team
- Provide inputs to quality assurance metrics on testing progress and open defect counts
- Follow organization QA standards, templates and processes
Working Experience:
- Independent and works well across different functions as required
- Ability and willingness to be hands-on
- Excellent problem analysis & solving skills, innovative and creative in solutioning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of drive & commitment to deliver on responsibilities
- At least 4 years of working experience in software development quality assurance.
- Hands-on in MS SQL . Should be an expert in MS SQL queries and scripting.
- Hands-on experience in testing ETL systems is mandatory
- Candidate should be able to create executable scripts for regression testing purposes
- Experience in testing SSIS ETL mappings is good to have
- Exposure to finance or actuarial concepts is advantageous.
