Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the profitability and growth of the robotics business.
- Oversee the development, solution design, and management of the robotics business for both local and international markets.
- Lead efforts in pursuing tender or contract bids to secure new business.
- Manage resource allocation and planning within cross-functional teams.
- Stay ahead of current and emerging technology trends in robotics and unmanned systems to align the company's focus with market demands.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Robotics, Automation, and Unmanned Systems Technology.
- Develop comprehensive engagement plans and winning strategies for robotics and unmanned systems projects.
- Conduct thorough tender evaluations based on customer specifications and requirements.
- Identify customer challenges and collaborate with relevant departments to design innovative product solutions.
- Oversee and manage the Business Development budget for the robotics division.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (other degrees will be considered).
- At least of 10 years experience in the commercial and/or military robotics sector.
- Strong hands-on experience or deep knowledge of robotics and unmanned technology is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of the sustainable energy industry is advantageous.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and the ability to clearly communicate business plans to stakeholders.
- Solid experience in risk management.
