Job Description
The Events & Community Director will be leading the communications strategy for the organization which is aligned with the goals and mission and build strong partnerships with the relevant stakeholders and industry leaders to co-create programs and events.
This includes large scale conferences and events within the education space to broaden the public outreach and analyze the impact assessment to form future strategies and directions.
The Events & Community Director will lead and manage the public relations & communications aspect for the NGO and this includes media relations, social media and press releases to maximize the outreach and visibility.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 8 years' experience in a similar role with leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large scale events or conferences
- Appreciation for sustainability, start-ups or NGO environment
