Responsible for managing sales activities, developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Job responsibilities:
- Promote and sell services.
- Meet targeted sales revenue.
- Expand market share. - Draw prospect list and develop new clients.
- Grow and retain key clients.
- Develop new services/products and concepts for the assigned market segment.
- Translate business strategy into pragmatic action plans and execute.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of all SGS services, ensuring that full range of SGS services are presented to new and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
- Promote the image, capability, and integrity of the company to the clients.Ensure timely creation of quotes and professional submission of all information as requested by clients, ensure follow-up.
- Negotiate and secure contracts.
- Manage pre and post contract commercial issues.
- Support for collection of payment from clients.Analyze market potential and develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
- Track competitor activities.
- Monitor market for the development of new technologies and trends.
- Source and coordinate with SGS affiliates and/or subcontractors for subcontract engagements.
- Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Industrial / Technical-related field (previous experience as Inspectors would be advantageous).
- 2 to 3 years sales experience in technical field.
- Technical knowledge of Industrial Inspections or Non-Destructive Testing.
- Able to work independently and multi-task.
- Good business acumen and results orientated.
- Able to interact with all levels of management.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Acts quickly and decisively.
- Works well under pressure, challenges status quo.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
- Team player and have service-oriented mindset.
