- Support promotion of services for both new and existing clients.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of all SGS services, ensuring that full range of SGS services are presented to new and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure timely creation of quotes and professional submission requested by clients, ensure follow-up.
- Source and coordinate with affiliates and/or subcontractors for subcontract engagements.
- Support analysis market potential and develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
- Monitor market for the development of new technologies and trends.
- Promote the image, capability, and integrity of the company to the clients.
- Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Science or related field would be advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of chemical/microbiology laboratory testing would be advantageous.
- Preferred with 1 year experience in customer service.
- Able to work independently and multi-task.
- Team player and with a passion for customer service.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- Able to interact with all levels of management.
- Works well under pressure, challenges status quo.
- Acts quickly and decisively.
