- Management Representative for ISO 9001, ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 certifications.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant Quality Management Systems, including but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 17025.
- Provide Quality Management System (QA) advice to all Businesses and drive continuous improvements.
- Central point of contact for all local Quality and Laboratory Management System matters.
- Development and maintenance of an effective Quality and Laboratory Management System in line with Group Policies and best practices.
- Development of an effective Management Quality System strategy to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and where relevant undertake Laboratory and Quality internal audits and prepare/provide CAPA report where necessary.
- Undertake training where required.
- Provide appropriate advice to managers, offering a practical and informed interpretation of Company Policies and QA requirements in response to routine and non-routine matters to enable all operations to function effectively and consistently within established guidelines.
- To keep appraised of current Quality and Laboratory Management System best practice and theory in order to effectively advise and ensure relevant application in line with SGS business objectives, its culture and environment.
- Maintain effective working relationships with key people in all Business by ensuring an appropriate level of interaction, including reactive and proactive site visits and regular written/verbal communications.
- Ensure QA remains a focus strategy and support the management in identifying priorities and monitoring performance against strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree with 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Prior experience as Quality Management Systems lead auditor or internal auditor qualifications.
- Knowledge of Quality and Laboratory Management Systems and procedures, including but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 17025.
Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously. - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with all levels.
- Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls.
