We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager. To oversee daily operation of the shop, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment. She/He also must Lead and manage a group of area/cluster managers to deliver business plan and KPIs within budget.
Job Descriptions
1. Store Operations
- Managing all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
2. Sales and Profitability
- Achieve sales targets, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Analyzing sales data and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Monitoring expenses and proposing cost control measures to maximize profitability.
3. Staff Management
- Implement training programs, and supervising store staff.
- Setting performance expectations and providing ongoing feedback.
- Scheduling shifts and managing payroll.
- Motivating and engaging employees to ensure a high level of customer service.
4. Customer Service
- Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met by the store staff.
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Creating a positive shopping experience for customers and building customer loyalty.
5. Merchandising and Visual Presentation
- Overseeing product placement and visual displays to optimize sales and create and appealing shopping environment as per company policy.
6. Marketing and Promotions
- Collaborating with the marketing team to implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and providing feedback to Cluster Manager.
7. Safety and Security
- Ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Implementing loss prevention measures to minimize theft and protect company assets.
8. Store Policies and Procedures
- Enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and implementing best practices to enhance store operations.
9. Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as human resources, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent required; or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in retail industry with minimum 3 years in the Store Manager role.
- Understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, merchandising, and customer service principles.
- Familiarity with inventory management and retail software.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, provide clear communication and feedback, delegate tasks, and solve problems.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies for growth.
- Financial management skills and knowledge of budgeting and profitability analysis.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and priorities
