Responsibitlites:
- Be responsible to plan and oversee day-to-dy operations in warehouse by ensuring adequate manpower to perform warehouse duties
- Plan and coordinate with customer service and operations to ensure timely operations (shipments clearance and delivery) execution
- To be competent with the IT tools implemented and to optimise the usage
- Establish and maintain good relations with the customers and address operational concerns
- To ensure all inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies
- To conduct inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies
- To organize the layout of warehouse and ensure effective utilization of warehouse spacing
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- manager WSH activities to ensure department's compliance to requirements
- Perform safety and health risk assessment
- Suggest improvements to eliminate hazards, feedback on inadequacy of operational control, risk assessment and safe work procedure
- To ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse and proper and safe functioning of warehouse tools, facilities and equipment
- Facilitate interactions between internal and external partners to implement technology projects
- Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes
