Our client in corporate banking is hiring a professional in internal audit to join their team.
Senior Specialist, Self-Assessment
The Senior Specialist, Self-Assessment is expected to provide support to Head of Self-Assessment in executing self-assessment / ad-hoc reviews and coordination work with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Perform self-assessment / ad-hoc reviews as assigned by the Head of Self-Assessment and report any control deficiencies identified.
- Update self-assessment checklist periodically to be in line with the applicable regulatory requirements, existing Head Office and Branch’s policies and procedures.
- Provide support in monitoring and follow-up on outstanding audit issues, verifying completion of rectification plans.
- Assist in providing audit findings status update to Head Office’s Audit Department monthly
- Assist with coordination of audit engagements and documents request.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Self-Assessment.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Business, Accountancy, Banking & Finance or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences in risk and control, audit functions
- Strong analytical, problem solving and logical skills
- Ability to excel under pressure and possess a positive attitude
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties
