As a Gas Chromatography lab application engineer, you would be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing gas chromatography systems. Your work would involve ensuring the proper functioning of gas chromatography instruments, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.
Responsibilities:
- To provide active support to gas chromatography tuning, preparation of GC operation data and report.
- Gas chromatography tuning involves columns installation, operation data collection, and handling of gas and liquid cylinders.
- Ability to troubleshoot gas chromatography issues.
- Support the manager to ensure the quality of the GC produced and to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the lab.
- Support the department on the daily operation activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Chemical engineering/Chemistry/ Chemical Process, or any related module is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Gas Chromatography Lab Application Engineer, who is familiar with gas chromatography principles, operation, calibration, and data analysis is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel and word.
