Job Description:
Business Development:
- Source and identify business opportunities and deals.
- Maintain a framework for the development process, including feasibility, site inspections, technical services, due diligence, brand specifications, and internal approvals.
- Understand business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts.
- Build and maintain strong relation with owners, business partners and industry professionals for qualified leads and business opportunities generation.
- Evaluate and review business opportunities and deals by conducting market research, financial analyses, financial modelling and feasibility studies entailing cash-flow and yield analyses and projections.
- Prepare and conduct pitch to owners and business partners.
- Draft term sheets and conduct and manage the negotiation of the terms of the deals and transactions.
- Review the structure of the deals / transactions, including due diligence, financing, risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with relevant internal (including legal, operations, and pre-opening team) and external parties on matters relating to new management opportunities and business partnerships and support the deals through to opening.
- Prepare and present business proposals and papers for management and board’s approval.
- Perform any other tasks and duties as required by The Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in the field of business development with a proven track record in the transaction of deals, preferably in the real estate and/or hospitality sector.
- Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and project-planning skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- High level of independence and initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
