Role Overview:
- Sell company's technical solutions and services to ship owners and managers in Singapore and the APAC region.
- Develop and present customized value propositions to highlight the benefits of company's services.
- Meet with current and potential clients to create and offer tailored technical solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-ups, manage relationships, and handle collections as necessary.
- Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and respond promptly.
- Track sales progress monthly and develop strategies for market expansion.
- Analyze competitors and manage customer relations.
- Explore complementary industries and identify opportunities based on data.
- Review industry priorities and identify gaps that Viswa can address.
- Respond to RFPs with detailed proposals and manage the end-to-end process for winning bids.
- Survey customers to identify needs and create customized solutions.
- Facilitate the handover of new customers to account sales managers.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on organizational needs.
- Develop and maintain CRM and reporting processes with internal experts.
- Communicate effectively and present professionally.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the maritime industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for market engagement and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with client relationship management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence at all levels within an organization.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to a frequently changing work environment.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Fluency in English and Chinese.
