Responsibilities of a façade designer includes:
• Ensure timely preparation of shop-drawings, cut-lists and manufacturing drawings.
• Plan, Implement and monitor design development and shop-drawings production schedules.
• Ensure product design development cost within budget constraints Qualities that a competent façade designer engineer should have:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have relevant experience in Facade engineering especially in unitized curtain wall
• Ability to evaluate façade design and propose potential value engineering and cost savings
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural, Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
