Roles & Responsibilities
The responsibility of this position is to lead the project assigned to successful completion within the project schedule & scope as well as obtain the targeted profit and achieve high customer satisfaction.
The incumbent shall carry out the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Resolve complex issues with clients & consultants, JV partners, and/or sub-contractors which are not able to be handled by subordinates.
- Direct project team members to achieve targets of safety, quality, profit and timely completion of the project. To monitor the progress of the project according to the targets set.
- Identify key staff to lead the project and delegate responsibilities. Provide guidance and direction to staff for them to work towards the targets set.
- Personnel management and development.
- Oversee the tender works including providing directions on planning, construction technique, quality of tender submission documents, risk and issue management, tender price negotiation with suppliers and subcons for finalization.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majored in Civil Engineering recognised
- Minimum 6 years of local experience in construction industry
- Experience in Road Works / Building Works Project will be preferred
- Proven working experience in project management
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Independent and organised with positive work attitude
- Possess strong written
- Good decision maker and team player
- Auto Cad designing
- Class 4 with Forklift licence
