Main Responsibilities:
• Lead accounting team to perform month end and year end closing with strong controllership.
• Drive cross team understanding of accounting standards (current and new), apply and train technical principals to develop team.
• Support group policies and processes to ensure corresponding controls are designed, executed, documented, and reviewing across the markets within SEAA.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce financial reports and statements
• Review of balance sheet reconciliation and other schedules on a monthly or quarterly basis as appropriate.
• Lead team in various accounting function of SEAA and provide training on Travel and Entertainment claims process, purchase orders process and similar projects in scope.
• Responsibility of compliance works – direct and indirect taxes submission
• Co-ordinate and complete annual audits and tax submissions
• Provide recommendations and improve system and procedure
• Ad hoc duties and tasks
Relevant Experience:
• Degree in accounting and certified accountants
• More than10 years accounting experience and managing a mid-size accounting team (more than 5 people)
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in public accounting firm
• Solid knowledge of international accounting standards
