General Purpose of Position:
The Part-time Program and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for supporting and facilitating various activities within the department. This role involves collaborating with team members, managing communication channels, and ensuring smooth operations of volunteer and program related initiatives. The Part-time Program and Volunteer Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive volunteer experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
Volunteer Management
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new volunteers.
- Coordinate orientation sessions and training programmes.
- Act as a liaison between volunteers and the other departments.
- Ensure timely and effective communication through various channels.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records.
- Manage volunteer schedules and assignments.
- Coordinate volunteer activities and events.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers.
- Address volunteer’s inquiries and concerns on a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for volunteer for training development.
- Coordiate training sessions or workshops for volunteer.
- Assist in planning and executing events for volunteer.
- Mobilize and coordinate volunteers for event support.
- Implement recognition programmes to acknowledge volunteer’s efforts.
- Organize appreciation events or activities.
Program Coordination
- Plan and coordinate program schedules and projects
- Communicate with team members, management, and stakeholders about program goals and progress
- Ensure the program’s compliance with regulations and standards
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program, making adjustments as necessary
- Organize and maintain program documentation and reports
- Resolve program-related issues in a timely manner
- Provide support to implement strategies for the program’s growth and development
