The Role
We are hiring Admissions Officer to manage full admission process and communication with parents in the school daily, from administrative support to teacher and parent communications.
The Context
Astor opened in August of 2019 to provide quality, affordable education to international students. Astor provides a focused and creative learning environment that specifically grows student understanding in Mathematics, Literacy, Humanities and Science whilst embracing art, music, dance and drama as an important tool in which to explore thinking and learning. By being intentional in our program, students finish at 1pm, allowing them the time needed for external coaching, training and programs that have otherwise not been accommodated for in extended school days.
Job Responsibilities - Admissions
· Manage and oversee the entire admissions process from initial inquiry to enrolment.
· Respond to inquiries from prospective students and families via phone, email, and in-person.
· Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about the school.
· Coordinate student assessment with prospective students and families.
· Ensure that all required documentation is submitted and complete.
· Maintain accurate records of all admissions activities and update the admissions database regularly.
· Work with the Director to develop and implement students’ recruitment strategies.
· Attend school fairs, open houses, and other events to promote the school and attract prospective students.
· Assist in marketing strategy and implementation
· Provide regular reports on admissions statistics and trends to the School Principal and School Director.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and external stakeholders.
· Other responsibilities may include:
· Website management and Social Media management
· Student invoicing and contracts management
· Artwork design and events preparation management
· Ad hoc tasks from the Director or Principal of the school
Job Skills, qualifications and visas
• English Speaker
• Knowledge of and experience in Google Suits, Excel and Word
• Knowledge of and experience with Xero
• Preferable experience with WIX
• Highly organised with good interpersonal skills
Compensation and benefits
• Salary SGD2000 – SGD3500
• Leave 21 working days
• Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm
