Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of multi-dose medication supply services
- Set up of medication management system at new care facilities
- To quality control the finished product via operational and pharmaceutical checks.
- To work with the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to drive the delivery of the daily/weekly production plans to clients’ pharmacies.
- To manage all quality aspects of the operation in a professional and effective way and in accordance with current regulations and guidance.
- Ensure quality compliance of the finished product by optimising and standardising processes, making sure production SOPs and Good Practice is adhered to.
- To manage and perform final approval of pre-packed batches prior to release.
- Accountable for the accurate and timely dispensing of medicine to the right patient.
- Provide pharmaceutical care services to Intermediate, Long-term care (ILTC) facilities & day centers.

Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and distribution of drugs and related supplies to meet patient needs.
- Streamline processes to enhance productivity and minimize errors in drug dispensing.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Manage procurement, storage, and distribution of medications and related supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock rotation, reduce costs, and maintain accurate records.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and pharmacy standards related to pharmaceuticals.
- Implement quality control measures and perform regular audits to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and operational improvements to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the pharmacy.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement changes and monitor outcomes.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the budget for the pharmacy unit, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs while maintaining quality of care
Requirements
- Min Degree in Pharmacy from recognised Institution
- Must be registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC)
- 5-8 years of relevant working experience in pharmacy operations
- Experience in managing a team or providing pharmaceutical care services to nursing homes/daycares is an advantage
- Must have initiative, drive, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be team-oriented
