We are looking for a Design Engineer (Renewable Energy) to join our client's dynamic team to expand the regional market. As part of the team, you will maintain an effective level of business literacy and be highly competent in building relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Technical design for renewable systems including
- Grid tied solar rooftop system
- Solar + BESS system
- Ground mounted solar utility system
- Utilize Helioscope/PVSyst as well as AutoCAD to create and optimize PV layout and electrical design for the solar projects
- Develop electrical design including single line drawings for solar projects
- Supporting project development with preparation of proposals and tender submissions with technical solutions
- Support design, asset management, and O&M team by providing feedback, technical/engineering input, and validating data on teams’ innovative ideas and concepts to improve design process and solutions
- Technical review of proposals submitted by EPC or sub-contractors
Qualification and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in electrical engineering, renewable field or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of international code applicable for solar engineering
- Ability to work with a team and independently to develop solutions to technical issuesMinimum 5 years of related experience in Solar PV industry or energy storage
- Proficient in PVsyst, Helioscope and/or other system design simulation tools
- Proficient in English

Work Schedule: 5 days; 8.30am-5.30pm
AL : 14 days upon confirmation
AWS: No AWS. Only performance bonus.
