Job Overview:
As a Junior Business Development Associate, you will play an integral role in our business expansion efforts. Your primary focus will be to support the senior sales team in program execution and to help research potential clients, generate leads, and assist the sales team in booking meetings and meeting sales revenue targets with key decision-makers. This role offers significant growth potential for those interested in a career in sales, business development, or client relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Research: Identify and research prospective clients through various online platforms, databases, and industry events.
- Outreach & Cold Calling: Initiate contact with potential clients via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, aiming to introduce our solutions and services.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and book meetings for senior business development executives with qualified leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update client data, lead progress, and activity tracking in the company’s CRM system (e.g. HubSpot).
- Follow-Up: Assist in following up with leads after meetings and keeping the sales pipeline active.
- Support Proposals & Presentations: Help prepare materials for client pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Program Execution: Work closely with program owners to coordinate venue, logistics, trainer communications and any setup and closing needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role (internships or entry-level experience in sales, business development, or marketing a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence in making cold calls and reaching out to new leads.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented and goal-driven mindset with a passion for learning.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
