Responsibilities
We’re seeking Software QA & Support Engineer to join our TreeBox team. Our ideal candidate is someone who believes that he or she has the ability to take this challenge, responsible and highly motivated.
- Responsible for ensuring the product deployed to production is of high quality with minimum defects.
- Design, develop and maintain quality test plan, regression test suites and test cases, testing environment, testing framework in accordance with changing requirements.
- Assist with design and execute manual and automated tests for new and existing products.
- Conduct functional and performance testing and other tasks assigned during the employment by their supervisors.
- Document findings using a bug tracking system, reporting and monitoring of bugs.
- Work closely with developers to assist in bug analysis.
- Prepare and present test reports.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent and timely project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Provide technical support to customers’ queries and assist in onsite preventive maintenance work.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Electrical Engineering will be required.
- Good understanding of mobile (iOS and Android) and web technologies
- Experience with scripting and coding using python, bash, java.
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UITesting.
- Experience with network and web security will be a strong advantage.
- Able to work under tight deadline.
- Able to work independently with high level of motivation.
- Good meticulous team player and strong attention to details.
- A sense of ownership and pride in your performance to ensure quality of the product and its impact on the company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skill
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer is an advantage.
- Ability to work over weekends and Public Holidays on short notices.
