Responsibilities
- Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers to gather site project requirements and designs
- Calculate dimension and requirements in materials
- Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) Autocad software
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign to improve functionality
- Prepare detailed schematic drawings and single-line diagrams
- Prepare space planning, design conceptualization, materials, and color scheme specifications proposals
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools and BIM
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Sketch Up Strong attention to details and accuracy in technical drawings
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated site coordination skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
