- Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems
- Planning the placement of pipework, ducts and control panels
- Installing HVAC components
- Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
- Carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems
- Finding and fixing faults
- Helping customers to reduce their energy use
- Proficient in identifying VRV, chilled water and DX split unit system
- Proficient in cleanroom environment and knowing how to troubleshoot issues when problems arise
- Independent with knowledge on HVAC system and operations
- Proficient in using Daikin bluetooth checker when assessing issues with VRV system
- Able to carry out repair for compressors for mini chillers/heat pump and VRV system
- Well-versed in chilled & hot water piping system
- Willing to work irregular hours when system breakdown and ready to respond to breakdown calls
- Preferably with certifications on the above systems will be advantagous.
- Able to communicate with technicians and handle them on their scheduling
- Ability to lead and train the new technicians under your charge
Engineer should be well-versed in safety protocols in hospitals, hotels and cleanroom environment as clients will require safety aspect to be looked into during the course of work.
