Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming components to assess repair needs, utilizing SRM (Structural Repair Manual), AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), and CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) to identify suitable repair solutions.
- Prepare repair scope reports, generate BOM (Bill of Materials) for procurement, and ensure supplier compliance for spares and consumables before purchase.
- Certify and release completed repairs in accordance with assigned ratings, contractual obligations, and CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) regulations.
- Conduct final inspections and issue ARC (Authorized Release Certificate) for components being returned to service.
- Maintain precise documentation of all maintenance work, ensuring proper handling, preservation, and storage of components throughout the repair process.
- Support First Article development for Part 145 projects and ensure workshop compliance with 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards.
- Track and manage the calibration of tools and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Be prepared to travel to subsidiary locations and external sites as required to perform repairs or inspections.
- Oversee subcontractor orders, ensuring they meet detailed technical specifications, inspection quality, and contractual requirements.
- Provide safety guidance and training to operational staff, ensuring adherence to relevant safety standards.
- Report maintenance discrepancies and non-conformance to the Maintenance Manager or Quality & EHS Manager.
- Ensure all work follows the latest revisions of approved technical data, including Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage part sourcing, ensuring timely availability of spares for ongoing and future projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in processes and suggesting enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCE O Level, with proficiency in English.
- CAAS certifications: M10, L11, L12, CO1, M09, SAR-66 (CO2, TM1), SAR-7 B11, or SAR-66 M2, M8, M6, M7, M11.
- C6 rating is required; C20 rating is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CAAS and FAA regulations.
- Experience in Part 145 MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) with the ability to interpret SRM, AMM, and CMM technical data.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with flexibility to travel as needed.
