Responsibilities:
1. Tender Strategy Development:
- Participate as a team member to establish tender strategies for both ongoing and
- upcoming civil engineering projects (Land and Marine Projects) in Singapore and overseas.
- Gain experience and insights into the tendering process by contributing to strategy
- development.
2. Tender Meeting Coordination:
- Assist in facilitating tender meetings with the guidance of the tender leader.
- Coordinate meetings with tender teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
3. Technical Information Accumulation:
- Gather and analyze technical information from available documents to support tender teams and leaders.
- Help make competitive and accurate decisions by providing relevant input and data.
4. Deliverable Tracking and Team Coordination:
- Monitor deliverables and assist in managing the tender team’s preparation work to meet schedules, safety, and quality objectives.
- Support the team in staying on track and achieving project milestones.
5. Problem Identification and Resolution:
- Collaborate with team members to identify potential problems and devise effective measures to overcome them.
- Contribute to the problem-solving process through active involvement and innovative thinking.
6. Technology Proposal and Communication:
- Liaise and communicate with collaborators in Japan and other countries through the internal network to propose advanced and developed technologies for productivity improvement.
- Learn from international best practices and apply innovative solutions to projects.
7. Tender Submission Preparation:
- Ensure that tender submissions are well-prepared and meet the required specifications.
- Gain experience in preparing precise and competitive tender documents.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2.5 years of on-site management experience.
- Experience in managing and supervising construction projects worth over 100 million dollars.
- Proactive attitude and a spirit of inquiry, with a willingness to be posted to developing countries and remote areas in Africa and Asia for tasks such as ODA (Official Development Assistance) projects in the near future.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the tendering and project management processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts and eagerness to develop technical expertise.
Proven track record in the construction of:
- Land and Marine Civil Engineering near Coastal Area
- Land Development Works, including shoreline structure construction, under-ground services, Land Scaping and revetment
- Substructure and Superstructure Works
- Construction projects for high-speed railways and railway station
High proficient at:
- AutoCAD
- MS project
- Microsoft Office

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering field (Master's degree preferable).
