Overview
Health District @ Queenstown is a multi-stakeholder collaboration led by National University Health System (NUHS), Housing & Development Board (HDB) and National University of Singapore (NUS) to support residents in their journey of healthy living.
It aims to co-create, with residents and diverse stakeholders, effective, scalable, and sustainable interventions that enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of residents throughout their life, by:
- Increasing healthy longevity
- Enabling purposeful longevity
- Promoting intergenerational bonding
- Empowering residents so they can age in place
The Job Holder will be the key data analyst for Health District@Queenstown (HD) related projects under NUHS, and provide support to fine-tune rapid prototyping and continuous iteration to improve health of residents using a data-driven approach, as well as analyses based on geographical boundaries.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with relevant stakeholders in obtaining necessary datasets.
- Data extraction from accessible databases, merging and cleaning it.
- Analyse datasets to provide meaningful insights and learnings.
- Perform calculations according to MOH technical manual to determine screening rates in HD.
- Translate stakeholder needs to generate analysis to support continuous iteration of interventions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Health Sciences or other relevant majors. Postgrad diploma in data analytics or any other data analytics relevant certificates. Master’s degree in public health is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of the Singapore healthcare system and knowledge of integrated care models. Experience in social and/or healthcare setting is an added advantage.
- Good analytical skills.
- Proficient in Python and/or R, STATA, Tableau and SQL
- Must be able to extract, clean and analyse data.
- Ability to perform geospatial analysis is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, writing and interpersonal skill.
- Good team player.
- Possess positive attitude and able to work within given timeline.
