The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven sales professional to lead the formulation and execution of sales strategies for the APAC region, with a focus on markets in Singapore and neighboring countries. This position will be responsible for driving sales growth and business performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategies to drive growth in Singapore and neighboring APAC markets, including preparation of proposals and active engagement in sales activities.
- Regularly gather and analyze market intelligence, with a particular focus on opportunities in energy, chemical, life sciences, and industrial/urban infrastructure sectors across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Present findings to management to support decision-making.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by expanding into new client bases and exploring untapped business domains within targeted areas.
- Lead the development and adjustment of sales strategies to meet and exceed financial targets, addressing key challenges and optimizing business performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create competitive proposals and winning strategies for prospective clients.
- Manage customer relationships, taking the lead in negotiations, including commercial and contractual discussions, and ensuring alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Take an active role in building and maintaining trusted relationships with shareholders, partners, government agencies, and both existing and potential customers across the APAC region.
- Work closely with technical and project teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements, delivering tailored solutions to drive successful outcomes.
The Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline or business administration.
- At least 7 years of experience in the oil & gas, life sciences, or infrastructure sectors, with a proven track record in sales, including the successful management of 3 or more projects valued at over USD 50 million.
- Strong understanding of contractual practices and experience in EPC projects.
- Technical knowledge of the energy, chemical, life sciences, and industrial/urban infrastructure industries is preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
