Job Purpose
Provides direct support to the President, Emerging Markets, Asia in managing day-to-day business activities and administrative support, executing strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective communication across the emerging markets and regional office. The role requires strong organisational, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Major Accountabilities
1 Strategic support:
• Assist the executive in developing, implementing, and monitoring business strategies and objectives.
• Prepare analytical reports to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
• Manage special projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Support financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with regional and corporate objectives.
• Follow up and track KPIs to measure success and report on regional performance to the executive
2. Communication & stakeholder management:
• Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and executive summaries for leadership meetings.
3. Administrative & executive support:
• Manage the executive’s schedule, including coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and events.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure that the executive's priorities are effectively managed.
• Order office supplies, software and hardware
Specialialized Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business management, strategy, or consulting roles.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy working under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours, across regions and time zones
Education and Experience
• University degree / MBA an advantage
• Experience in a multinational or regional corporate environment.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• High level of emotional intelligence and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
