Maker Lab is excited about our latest project with our client, the world’s largest video sharing platform - on a great project to continuously drive responsible marketing across APAC. Given the growing complexity of the tech landscape, it is our duty to partner with key opinion leaders across the industry to ensure the policies and programs created not only inspire creators, audiences and users but sustain a healthy and trustworthy brand across APAC. 

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing essential processes and content marketing programs that will help protect the openness of the platform and strengthen the brand's reputation in the region. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with teams spanning Marketing, PR, and Policy to maintain APAC’s project roadmap, oversee localization timelines, manage marketing’s external claims process, and execute the region’s go-to-market strategies. You will be key in identifying process improvements, managing detailed launch calendars, leading cross-functional discussions, and building global and local stakeholder relationships. 

Role: 

  • Manage web development processes and agency relationships to continue expanding the website in APAC, which allows users, creators and audiences to understand how the brand works and the policies surrounding the brand. 
  • Lead localisation efforts for priority product launches and research programs by facilitating validations with the country teams, managing review timelines with the global team, and identifying opportunities to streamline ongoing workflows. 
  • Develop a detailed responsibility product launch calendar for APAC in partnership with our global cross-functional team; prioritise updates to effectively allocate local resources. 
  • Drive essential processes, partnering with global cross-functional teams to secure clearances to release data externally, understand policies surrounding data and publishing of data in different markets
  • Support execution of campaigns across the platforms different verticals 
  • Oversee quarterly budget and finance processes 
  • Facilitate internal communications for the brand  (recurring newsletters), maintain team website, and lead bi-weekly syncs with global and country teams 

You:

  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record
  • 8+ years experience in marketing, content marketing, project management and/or program management with a digital / tech based product 
  • Experience in a regional role with proven success partnering with local and global counterparts to drive results 
  • Strong expertise in project management and prioritisation, keeping teams on-time and on-goal, 
  • Strong understanding of key marketing processes such as product launches, etc is also key
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Acute attention to detail, with experience building and managing complex processes
  • Experience managing both internal stakeholders and external partner agencies
  • Exceptional problem solving skills, especially as it relates to project prioritization
  • Interest in the digital media ecosystem in Asia-Pacific, with strong motivation to learn
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentations skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects spanning across JAPAC.
