As part of the Marketing team, you will play a strategic role in data collation and analysis, transforming raw data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong curiosity about data and our business, proactively uncovering insights and crafting narratives that convey findings effectively.


With the increasing demand for data-driven insights across various sectors, your expertise will be critical in leveraging data to support campaign planning, automation, and optimisation. You will regularly engage with various commercial teams, including Sales, Business Development, and Management, to ensure data-driven decision-making aligns with business goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT & Digital Ops andthe group’s Data Corp team in HQ Paris for technical matters.



Job Description:


  • Data Mastery and Quality Assurance: Understand and manage the data used to market JCDecaux’s advertising inventory. Gather, validate, and enrich data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Methodology Development: Collaborate with the Group’s Data Corp team to define data collection methodologies, design research and surveys, and develop meaningful datasets for the business.
  • Narrative Development: Craft compelling narratives that tell the story behind the data, making complex insights actionable for stakeholders.
  • Business Support: Perform data analysis to answer business questions and support strategic business decisions, directly contributing to commercial strategies and objectives.
  • Reporting and Trend Analysis: Prepare reports and presentations for commercial teams, providing regular updates on trends and analyses to facilitate decision-making.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Analyse data to identify trends and create dashboards and charts to communicate insights clearly.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage in regular discussions and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Business Development, Management, and clients, to understand their data needs and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Automation: Design and implement automated data extraction and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or Marketing.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience as data analyst.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and experience with data analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, Presto, SQL, and Hive.
  • Advanced skills with data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address business challenges and derive data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of simplifying complex information for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in creating data narratives to communicate insights effectively.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality results.
  • A proactive mindset, committed to continuous improvement and data-driven exploration.

  • Mastery of Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
