- Participate in job rotations across various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's key functions.
- Acquire knowledge of the charterparty negotiation process and become familiar with key charterparty clauses.
- Manage operational tasks, ensuring thorough follow-up, precise execution, and successful closure of fixtures.
- Conduct market analysis on supply and demand trends, assess dry bulk market conditions, and monitor broader macroeconomic factors.
- Review and verify monthly/quarterly reports from Technical Managers, addressing any deviations or clarifications.
- Collaborate effectively with team members from departments such as Operations, Research & Risk, Technical, and Finance.
- Learn on the job from industry experts, developing both technical and soft skills, while receiving mentorship from line managers and peers.
- Undertake additional tasks and assignments as directed by line managers.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree in Maritime Studies or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and a team player.
- Adaptable, flexible, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
