Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Lead production activities to meet business objectives, optimizing workflow and production processes.
- Ensure safety regulations are meticulously followed to safeguard employee health and safety.
- Manage budgets and forecasts, including focusing on cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Build relationships with key industry players, vendors, and customers to develop new business opportunities.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate employee performance; address and resolve issues within the workforce.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Experience in planning and budgeting.
- Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM).
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on weekend, night shift and travel overseas
