Job Descriptions:
- Based on the tender documents and tender drawings, come up with the project BQ with the assistance of the project engineer based on site conditions, do cost estimations
- Provide input to Director for a decision on the final tender price
- Attend tender interviews and reviews for project clarifications
- Upon award of the tender, starts to plan and allocate resources (Manpower, Tools, and Equipment & materials) using the initial tender information as a basis
- Do up a project schedule (including Manpower schedule, Cost & Claim schedule, etc) for effective project management, monitoring & reporting
- After the initial project planning, start to go through the engineering aspects of the project to ensure that the design and constructability of the design are sound
- Identify potential issues with the project and do up the appropriate MSRA to minimize the issues and execute the project in the best possible manner in terms of cost, quality, time and resource requirements.
- Execution of construction plan while having cost control measures in place
- Monitoring work activities as well as individual performance on a daily basis and submitting a daily report via common communication mediums (Whatsapp, SMS, Email, etc)
- Submit weekly reports during a management meeting
- Coordinate and manage the customer acceptance process
- Coordinate project closeout documents
- Conduct Post Project Analysis and Reconciliation of Expectations in all aspects including a detailed project debriefing
- Coordinate the smooth transfer/handover of Project to Service and Maintenance team upon full project completion
- Build rapport with clients to aid the successful completion of works
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as Construction Manager or Project Manager for project sizes ranging from S$5.0M to S$20.0M
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently with a strong positive mindset.
- Possess the drive and commitment to achieve target under tight deadlines and pressure
- Possess strong multi-tasking skills to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
- Possess exceptional leadership skills to lead highly-diverse teams that are newly formed by bonding them together and getting them to perform the task at hand efficiently, within the budget, timeline and to the required quality
