Your Responsibilities
To carry out day-to-day IT requirements and to support the business' operations and administrative matters.
IT Support:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in managing IT assets, including inventory tracking and procurement of hardware/software.
- Collaborate with HR for new hire and exit staff IT processes, including paperwork, archive emails, office setup and etc.
- Liaise with third party vendors to coordinate issues on specific services.
- Liaise with product manufacturers for problem escalation and resolution.
- Handle a hardware warranty claim and replacement
System Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security.
- Monitor network performance and address any issues to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Implement security measures to safeguard company data and systems against cyber threats.
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support as needed, including documentation, scheduling, and data entry.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and service agreements.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on IT tools, software applications, and best practices.
- Share technical knowledge and expertise with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
The ideal candidate for the role will possess:
- Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- At least 2 years of proven experience providing level 2 support to users
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve the IT-related issues
- Experience in supporting Microsoft product like Office365, Outlook, etc is preferable
- Have good knowledge on firewall preferable
