Job Description:
Our client is one of the leading global banks with regional HQ in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join their IT organization, specializing in payment solutions for large multinational banks. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience working in a Payments group, with expertise in the end-to-end implementation of cutting-edge payment systems. This role will involve working on both on-premise and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on delivering robust and scalable solutions for global payments processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain payment systems and solutions for large MNC banks.
- Lead the functional analysis of payments workflows and systems, translating business requirements into functional components.
- Ensure compliance and functionality for SWIFT, ISO 20022 message processing, and Clearing & Settlement Systems including RTGS, Domestic Batch, RTP, and Cross-Border Schemes.
- Oversee technical integration of payment solutions across banking systems, leveraging tools such as Oracle OBPay, GPP, and OPF.
- Design integration solutions including file transfers, interface mapping, and functional modelling for banking systems and payment networks.
- Work closely with technical teams for the end-to-end implementation of payment hubs and processing solutions.
- Stay informed of the latest global payments trends and emerging technologies to support evolving business needs.
- Drive projects in an Agile delivery environment, contributing to solution architecture, functional design, and overall systems integration.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including UML diagrams, process flows, and functional specifications.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- More than 10years of experience as a Functional Analyst in an IT organization, specifically in payments processing for large MNC banks.
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, RTGS, and cross-border payments workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Payment Hub products such as Oracle OBPay, GPP, and OPF.
- Experience in implementing end-to-end IT solutions, including on-prem and cloud-based systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in functional analysis, data modelling, and solution design.
- Knowledge of interface mapping and technical integration across banking systems.
- Ability to understand complex global payments processes and align them with current business trends.
- Working knowledge of UML and BPMN is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex business problems through functional solutions.
