Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regular maintenance regime for electric vehicle (EV) charging points in accordance with TR 25 requirements.
- Manage a small team of technicians to perform routine checks and monitoring of EV charging points in accordance with Preventive Maintenance regime.
- Manage and liaise with maintenance contractor or charger OEM to ensure 6-monthly/ annual and ad-hoc maintenance and repair activities are carried out expeditiously and in accordance with TR25 a well as any other pre-determined standards.
- Monitor the operational status of Volt’s EV charging points and liaise with maintenance contractors and / or hardware and software suppliers to resolve any identified issues.
- Oversee call centre enquiries, monitor call centre performance KPIs and work closely with call centre operator to ensure KPIs are met.
- Work with call centre operator to ensure FAQs are updated and relevant based on typical enquiries received.
- Oversee engagements with site owners on monthly invoices (e.g. electricity reimbursements, monthly fee), electricity accounts and meters.
- Develop reporting formats on EV charging point operation, e.g. utilisation rates, repair / maintenance logs, for submission to government agencies and / or site owners.
- Improve Volt’s technological and operational capabilities – ranging from project management of EV Charging app improvement works to integrating of new technologies into Volt’s operations (e.g. lot hogging measures and dynamic load balancing).
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of experience
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facility management, Project management, site operations or any other related experience
- Good experience coordinating with suppliers and contractors to Test and commission electrical equipment and electrical installations with knowledge on EMA/SPPG requirements for successful power turn-on
- Good Health, Safety and Environment knowledge - preferably having experience working in minimum BizSafe 3 certified company
- Leadership skills – able to lead and coordinate a small team of 3 to 4 people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and attentive to details
- Possess a Singapore Class 3 driver’s license and confident of driving a van
- Preferably possess a LEW (Level 8)
